Fregat booster with 19 satellites falls into northern Atlantic

MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. The Fregat booster with 19 satellites most likely fell down into northern Atlantic, Russia’s state space corporation Roscosmos said on Friday citing findings of the commission that probed into the abortive launch from the Vostochy space center on November 28.

"According to the calculations, the most probable area of the fall of the upper stage is northern part of the Atlantic Ocean, 42° North Latitude, 38° West Longitude, with a dispersion range of 120-230 kilometers,+-45 kilometers perpendicular to the fall trajectory," Roscosmos said.

Apart from that, according to Roscosmos, the upper stage of the Soyuz-2.1b rocket was put onto the support orbit in a routine mode.
