TEHRAN, April 21. /TASS/. The Iranian Space Agency and Russia’s Roscosmos state corporation have discussed in Tehran a project of upgrading a satellite information receiving and processing station, the IRNA news agency said on Thursday.
"Director of Iranian Space Agency Mohsen Bahrami and his Russian counterpart Igor Komarov in a meeting on Wednesday discussed upgrading hardwares and softwares of Alborz (Mahdasht) Satellite Information Receiving and Processing Station," the report said.
The upgrading of the station will increase access to processing information from satellites and improve image control.
The sides also discussed other areas of cooperation, including launching student satellites and cooperation in astronautics.
