MOSCOW, April 11 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet the leaders of the Russian space industry and will have a live video conference with the International Space Station and the Vostochny space launch facility on April 12, which Russia marks as Cosmonautics Day, the Kremlin press service said on Monday.
During the video link, the president will congratulate the cosmonauts on their professional holiday. He will also hear the reports of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Igor Komarov, the head of the Russian State Corporation Roscosmos, on development of Russian cosmonautics.
Later in the day, the president will attend a concert devoted to the 55th anniversary of man’s first flight into outer space.
