SINGAPORE, February 18. /TASS/. Russia’s JSC Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems (ISS Reshetnev) has for the first time presented Russian space technology at the Singapore Airshow, ISS spokeswoman Svetlana Bashkova said on Thursday. According to her, the exposition of the Krasnoyarsk-based holding is not only the first Russian, but also the world's first space exhibition in Singapore.
"Our company is for the first time in Singapore and as it turned out we are pioneers here in the field of space," Bashkova said. At the first stage the company has the task to introduce "our products, our capabilities and our technology" to the region, she added.
"Opening of a new region for the promotion of Russian technology is a very important step", said the ISS Reshetnev representative. According to her, the exhibition "has aroused a major interest of the visitors, especially in telecommunications devices, navigation and relay equipment". "And we have a very good offer for the region", Bashkova said.
