Moscow, Tehran have potential for cooperation in biotech sphere — Russian official

According to Andrey Fursenko, Iran is very strong in nanotechnology, which is "also of interest"

SIRIUS /federal territory/, November 29. /TASS/. Pharmaceuticals and nanotechnology are among the most promising areas for scientific cooperation between Russia and Iran, Russian presidential aide Andrey Fursenko told TASS.

"Pharmaceuticals are very interesting. They [Iran - TASS] have developed this very well. They are very strong in nanotechnology, materials. This is also of interest," Fursenko noted.

Cooperation in the space sphere and the development of scientific and educational exchanges between Russian and Iranian higher educational institutions also have prospects, he added.
