MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Four international mathematical centers and three centers on world-class genomic studies are due to be set up in Russia in 2020, according to information on national projects, published on the government’s website on Monday.
In 2021, three world-class scientific centers are scheduled to be created to conduct researches and developments on priority scientific and technological areas. By 2024, three national biological resource network centers should start operating in the country.
According to this information, St. Petersburg will host the 29th World Mathematic Congress in 2022. In two years, technologies developed under this national project will be implemented in organizations working in the real sector of economy.
The Science national project, developed in line with May decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is due to be fulfilled between October 2018 and 2024.
By 2024, Russia should be ranked among top five major countries carrying out scientific researches in the areas, which are priority ones for scientific and technological development, according to the national project’s goals.
