The pro-Kremlin law enforcers will create a party

MOSCOW, April 27 (Itar-Tass) — “The Defenders of the Fatherland” will meet for a constituent congress on May 27. The public organizations Officers of Russia decided to create their party loyal to the authorities. The party will be presumable called “The Defenders of the Fatherland”, chairman of the organization Nikolai Sobolev told the Izvestia daily on Friday.

The ideology of a future party is based on patriotism, the education of the youth, family, the Russian model of education, faith and spirituality. Meanwhile, the officers will fight for social housing, a larger population in towns, the revival of the program of the GTO standards (Ready for Labour and Defence), and will look only for those people, who served in the army, to come to power. “Even the legislative authorities should be formed only from those, who passed the army training and served in the army,” Sobolev said.

The Yaroslavl World Political Forum will not be held this year

This year the World Political Forum will not be held in Yaroslavl. Dmitry Medvedev do not want to hold it, and Vladimir Putin has the Valdai Discussion Club. “We are not preparing for the forum,” a source in the executive directorate of the forum told the Izvestia daily.

The Rodina Party is reviving

On April 27, the legal successor of Dmitry Rogozin’s party filed the documents for the registration in the Justice Ministry. The party already numbers 200,000 people, a source in the organizing committee of the party said.

The organizing committee of the party will be sooner headed by the incumbent leader of the Congress of Russian Communities and Dmitry Rogozin’s close associate, a State Duma deputy, Alexei Zhuravlev. The leadership of the party “will include almost all those people, which worked in the former Rodina Party,” the sources said.
