MOSCOW, April 25 (Itar-Tass) — Dmitry Medvedev will become the United Russia party head instead of Vladimir Putin. Unlike Putin, he may become the party member. The party members believe that Medvedev thus will keep the second key to the country’s control. It seems that United Russia is thrown aside.
Putin did not mention the party in his election political article and has tried to distance from it by his actions. It turns out that he no longer needs this structure in the post-election period. It is another proof of the fact that United Russia is not a party at all.
