Medvedev to keep Shuvalov in RF government

Igor Shuvalov with a high degree of probability will stay in the Russian government in the rank of the first deputy prime minister

MOSCOW, April 24 (Itar-Tass) — Igor Shuvalov with a high degree of probability will stay in the Russian government in the rank of the first deputy prime minister, two high-ranking officials in the Kremlin and the White House told the Izvestiya daily. The Kremlin source drew attention to several achievements of Shuvalov. He secured Russia’s WTO accession, created the technological base of the Eurasian Commission, formed the economic conglomeration in the Primorsky Territory, established the Housing Construction Fund and helped Russia to win the right to host the 2019 FIFA World Championship. “It is logical that Shuvalov will continue to implement the projects he launched,” says the Kremlin official.
