Head of Russia's state-owned news agency sued EU over sanctions against him

Dmitry Kiselyov demands annulment of the EU Council decision to include him in the EU blacklist and compensation of all legal costs linked to the litigation

BRUSSELS, September 7 /TASS/. Dmitry Kiselyov, director-general of the Rossiya Segodnya media holding, has sued the EU Council at the European Court of Justice for his inclusion in the EU blacklist, the Official Journal of the European Union wrote on Monday.

The European Court of Justice registered Kiselyov’s lawsuit on May 22, the Official Journal said.

Kiselyov demands annulment of the EU Council decision to include him in the EU blacklist and compensation of all legal costs linked to the litigation.
