MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. Russia watchdog agency in the sphere of mass communications, Roskomnadzor has instructed the telecommunications operators to block 18 webpages of an unregistered schismatic religious association calling itself the Orthodox Church of Russia, which has absolutely no relationship to the Russian Orthodox Church reporting to Moscow Patriarchate.
"Materials published on the pages of this website contain the declarations aimed at fanning religious, ethnic or other types of social hatred and animosity," the watchdog said in a report.
"The Russian Ministry of Justice has included the doctrinal brochure of the organization titled 'The Orthodox Church of Russia and the Contemporary Epoch Portending Antichrist: the Concept of Faith of the Orthodox Church of Russia ' in the federal list of extremist materials," it said.
