It's the ninth regimental set of the S-400 air defense system

MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antei air defense concern has ahead of time delivered to the Russian Defense Ministry the ninth regimental set of the S-400 antiaircraft missile defence system, the company CEO Yan Novikov said on Wednesday.

"We have delivered the first this year and ninth in general regimental set of the S-400 Triumph missile system to our main customer - the Defense Ministry of Russia, ahead of time. This system was scheduled to be delivered this November," he said.

The Almaz-Antei head said that in accordance with the customer’s requirements, the equipment was handed over to the Defense Ministry representatives at a range with test firing on air targets. The acceptance delivery tests were successful.

"Before the end of 2015, the concern will deliver to the Russian Defense Ministry two more regimental sets of the S-400 Triumph air defence missile weapon systems. Thus, the state customer will receive three regimental sets of this system this year," the Almaz-Antei CEO said.
