VLADIVOSTOK, September 1. /TASS/. The first casino in Primorye recreation zone in Russia’s Far East will open near the city of Vladivostok on October 8, a local deputy governor told TASS on Tuesday.
"As of September 1, the construction has been completed, all the equipment has been installed," Sergey Nekhaev said.
The casino’s opening was previously scheduled for September 1.
The construction of the 619 hectare recreation area with hotels, casinos, villas, shopping malls and a yacht club will be completed in 2022.
Three contracts for $2.2 billion investments into hotels and casinos have already been signed with foreign partners.
