ZHUKOVSKY /Moscow Region/, August 26. /TASS/. The order book of Russia’s state arms exporter Rosoboronexport for Russian-made air defense systems exceeds $9 billion and will expand in the near future, Rosoboronexport CEO Anatoly Isaikin said on Wednesday.

"The order book for Russian air defense weapons exceeds $9 billion and will grow in the near future. Our foreign partners, who see what is happening in the world, want to be protected quickly and reliably from major air threats and Rosoboronexport is ready to offer advanced air defense systems and complexes of all classesm as well as electronic warfare means," Isaikin said.

It is not accidental that the deliveries of Russian air defense systems are always in the focus of the Western media’s attention, he said.

The Rosoboronexport head said on Tuesday the state arms exporter’s order book totaled over $40 billion, of which orders for Russian aircraft equaled more than $18 billion.
