MOSCOW, August 24 /TASS/. The US embassy in Moscow is still considering a visa application of Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, the embassy’s spokesperson William Stevens told TASS on Monday.
Her visa application is still at the embassy, the diplomat said commenting on media reports that Matviyenko could not travel to New York to attend a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union because she had allegedly been denied the US visa.
