MOSCOW, August 23 /TASS/. A Robinson R44 helicopter with four people onboard, including a child, made a crash landing on the Moskva River on Saturday.
A Moscow police source told TASS that the incident had occurred near the Beresta village in the Moscow region.
"A pilot and three of his relatives, including a child, were hurt. All of them refused to go to hospital," the source said.
"According to preliminary reports, the pilot lost control of the helicopter and that caused him to make a heavy touchdown," the police source added.
Rescuers continue working at the scene. Robinson is lying at a depth of 2-2.5 meters 15 meters away from the riverbank. It is still unknown if the helicopter is to be retrieved from the riverbed with the coming of daylight, police said.
