Ukraine not to participate in Russia’s MAKS-2015 air show

A total of 156 companies from 30 countries will take part in the air show to be attended by delegations of 80 countries

ZHUKOVSKY, August 21. /TASS/. Ukrainian companies will not take part in the next week's MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon in the town of Zhukovsky near Moscow, organizers said on Friday.

"Ukrainian enterprises will not participate for obvious reasons, but they have been replaced with other countries’ representatives," said Vladimir Sovetkin said, deputy head of the Aviasalon company.

He added that Israeli companies would not be present as well.

A total of 156 companies from 30 countries will take part in the air show to be attended by delegations of 80 countries, Sovetkin said.

The air show will be held from August 25 to 30.
