ROSTOV-ON-DON, August 21 /TASS/. Regional court in Russia’s southern Rostov region on Friday turned down a motion to transfer the case of former Ukrainian army serviceman Nadezhda Savchenko to Moscow, as requested by her defense lawyers, and upheld the previous decision that the trial would be held in Donetsk, a city in Russia’s southern Rostov region, TASS correspondent reported from the courtroom.
"There are no grounds to change the trial’s venue," the judge said.
