YEKATERINBURG, August 18. /TASS/. Parents in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg named their newborn son after Crimea, a deputy head of the local civil registration office told TASS on Tuesday.
"Last year another boy was also named Krym (the Russian pronunciation of Crimea)," Natalia Kurnayeva said.
Tatiana Kuznetsova, the head of the Sverdlovsk Region’s registration office, said earlier that local residents recently began naming their newborn children after Game of Thrones characters, with Theon being the most popular name.
