VLADIMIR, August 17. /TASS/. Lawyers of former chief of the Russian Defense Ministry’s property department Yevgenia Vasilieva’s have filed an appeal for her release on parole, a spokesperson for the court in central Russia’s Vladimir Region said on Monday.
"Court hearings of Vasilieva’s appeal will take place on August 21," she said.
Vasilieva was found guilty on eight charges including fraud and money laundering and sentenced to five years in prison.
