Crimea popular with Russian tourists — Kremlin chief of staff

According to Russia’s presidential chief of staff, authorities should also pay attention to the city of Kerch, the main transport gate to Crimea

KERCH, August 17. /TASS/. Crimean resorts are popular among Russians and the peninsula’s hotels are packed with tourists, Sergey Ivanov, Russia’s presidential chief of staff, said on Monday.

"We will build the bridge [the Kerch Strait bridge is intended to span the Kerch Peninsula of Crimea and the Krasnodar region], repair the roads and vacation in Crimea will become more comfortable," he said. "As far as I know, hotels in the region are full."

According to Ivanov, authorities should also pay attention to the city of Kerch, the main transport gate to Crimea.
