ALABINO/Moscow Region/, August 15. /TASS/. All the foreign participants of the first International Army Games have been invited for the similar competition in 2016, the Russian first deputy defence minister, Arkady Bakhin, said on Saturday.
"I congratulate once against all the participants of the competitions and the recipients of the awards. The games were indeed organized very well," Bakhin told an awards ceremony in Alabino, near Moscow.
"I wish success in future to the teams and to prepare for the ArMI-2016 and to show their skills, professionalism and the best qualities," he said, adding that the next competition will have "global reach."
The International Army Games, held since August 1, ended on Saturday with the finals of the Tank Biathlon competition. The tank of the Russian team came first in the race, finishing in 1 hour and 12 minutes.
China came second followed by Serbia. The team of Kazakhstan finished in 1 hour and 26 minutes.
