MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to meet with the leader of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces, Khaled al-Khoja, a senior Russian diplomat Mikhail Bogdanov has said.
"They have asked for such a meeting, and we have invited them," Deputy Foreign Minister Bogdanov, who is the presidential envoy for the Middle East and Africa, said.
"The date will be announced possibly today or tomorrow," he said.
The delegation of Syria’s coalition of opposition groups, founded in November 2012, is expected to arrive in Moscow in the coming days. The representatives of other movements of the Syrian opposition are also due to visit the Russian capital.
