Russia’s An-148 plane delivers injured Russians from Nepal to Moscow

However, sources in Russian medical circles told TASS that they were paragliders who received serious traumas after ramming into a wall in Nepal

MOSCOW, August 9 /TASS/. A Russian Emergencies Ministry plane has delivered two Russians injured during their vacation from Nepal to Moscow for treatment, the Emergencies Ministry press service told TASS.

"An-148 plane landed at the Ramenskoye airfield near Moscow at 04:25 Moscow time with two Russian nationals onboard," the Emergencies Ministry said.

Both Russians who need highly qualified medical aid have been delivered to the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said without clarifying the patients’ diagnosis.

However, sources in Russian medical circles told TASS that they were paragliders who received serious traumas after ramming into a wall in Nepal.
