Russia to export $13 bln worth of armaments in 2015 — Rostec

Russia's customers are mostly Asia (75%), Latin America (9%) and the Middle East (7%)

MOSCOW, July 22. /TASS/, Russia's arms exporting agency Rosoboronexport is planning to sell $13 bln worth of armaments abroad, Vasily Brovko, Head of Communications for the agency's parent company Rostec, told TASS Wednesday.

"The volume of exports of armaments will remain at the level of $13 bln. Our orders portfolio will not change either, amounting to $40 bln," he said.

Earlier TASS reported Rosoboronexport exported $13.2 bln worth or military hardware in 2014, beating the planned volume by $22 mln. Most exports were made to Asia (75%), Latin America (9%) and the Middle East (7%).

Rosoboronexport is part of the State Corporation Rostec and is the sole state intermediary in exporting armamaments.
