Russia’s military doesn’t confirm reports on plane crash landing in Yekaterinburg

YEKATERINBURG, July 22. /TASS/. The Central Military District has not confirmed the information about the crash landing of a military aircraft in Yekaterinburg, a city in the Urals, assistant district commander Colonel Yaroslav Roschupkin told TASS on Wednesday.

"There were no extraordinary events related to the military aviation at the Koltsovo military airfield in Yekaterinburg," he said.

A source in the regional emergency service earlier told TASS that a military aircraft had crash-landed on Wednesday at the Koltsovo international airport in Yekaterinburg, and its chassis had snapped.
