Russia revises rules of using airspace to enhance flights’ safety

The changes concern the standards and the practice of the air traffic service monitoring and flights’ performance

MOSCOW, July 13. /TASS/. Russia has changed the federal rules of using the national airspace to increase the level of the flights’ safety and comply with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the UN aviation watchdog.

Under the government decree, posted on the website of the Russian cabinet of ministers on Monday, the possibilities of using the country’s airspace will also be expanded.

The respective changes concern the standards and the practice of the air traffic service monitoring and flights’ performance.
