Russian plane lands safely in northern Siberia after depressurization signal

The plane was travelling from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport to Novy Urengoy in northern Siberia when a cabin depressurization condition was detected by an air pressure sensor, law enforcement official says

YEKATERINBURG, July 10. /TASS/. A plane flying from Moscow made a safe landing in the city of Novy Urengoy after it had received a signal of cabin depressurization, a law enforcement official told TASS on Friday.

The plane was travelling from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport to Novy Urengoy in northern Siberia when a cabin depressurisation condition was detected by an air pressure sensor, the official said, adding that no other incidents had been registered and the plane safely landed at Novy Urengoy’s airport.

Information about the incident is being verified, the Interior Ministry’s transport administration for the Urals Federal District said.
