A Su-24M bomber crashed earlier on Monday during take-off for a training flight, killing both pilots

MOSCOW, July 6. /TASS/. The Russian Air Force commander has ruled to suspend flights of Su-24M bombers after a plane crash in in the Far-eastern Khabarovsk region, the Defence Ministry's press service said on Monday.

A Su-24M bomber crashed earlier on Monday during take-off for a training flight, killing both pilots.

"The flights have been suspended before the causes of the crash are established," the ministry said.

A MiG-29 fighter jet crashed in southern Russia last week but both pilots ejected.
