On June 25 torrential rains fell out in the Black Sea beach city of Sochi that hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 2014. Around 200 residential houses and 450 household gardens were flooded. Sochi airport was closed for inbound flights because of a partial inundation of the airfield. Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has reported Friday that the situation in the city has stabilized.
