Journalist Ryklin interrogated over Nemtsov’s murder — lawyer

The journalist confirmed that leader of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov had threatened Nemtsov, the lawyer of Nemtsov’s family said

MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Journalist Alexander Ryklin has given testimony on Thursday over the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov .

"Ryklin was interrogated on Thursday by the investigator as a witness. He confirmed that leader of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov had threatened Nemtsov," the lawyer of Nemtsov’s family Vadim Prokhorov told TASS.

The lawyer noted that "the threats had been caused by Nemtsov’s negative attitude to the political system in the republic."

Co-chairman of the Parnas opposition party Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in central Moscow on February 27. Zaur Dadaev whom investigators consider the direct perpetrator of the crime, Khamzat Bakhaev, Anzor Gubashev, Shadid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov have been arrested over Nemtsov’s murder.
