The Russian Defense Ministry’s press service said on Wednesday that "more than 2,000 troops and 250 pieces of military equipment of the Ulan-Ude and Ivanovo air assault forces were alerted as part of scheduled bilateral command-staff exercises with airborne insert in an unfamiliar territory."
