Putin to meet Chinese parliament speaker on Tuesday — Kremlin

MOSCOW, June 8 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will on Tuesday meet Chang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress who is currently on a visit in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The president will receive Chang Dejiang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress," he said.

"Given the nature and growing dynamics of partnership relations between Russia and China, it is natural that the head of state should meet such a high-ranking guest," Peskov stressed adding that the two countries had a busy agenda in various spheres.

Peskov said that President Putin would have a number of working meetings with the heads of Russian regions.
