MOSCOW, June 8. /TASS/. The first parliamentary forum of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is opening in Moscow on Monday.
It will gather over 100 participants - heads and members of BRICS top legislative bodies, who may start the establishment of the BRICS Parliamentary Assembly.
The forum’s plenary meeting will consist of two sessions and will be led by speakers of the upper and lower houses of parliament - the Federation Council and the State Duma - Valentina Matviyenko and Sergey Naryshkin.
