MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. There are no regular Russian troops in Ukraine, the official spokesman for the Defense Ministry, General Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday in the wake of claims by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada.

"There aren't any regular Russian troops there, to say nothing of combat tactical groups of some kind," he said.

Konashenkov made a recommendation to "the storytellers on the Army staff to take account of this and to stay away for making their country leader to ridicule next time."
