Russia is going to conclude border military activity agreements with Japan, DPRK

SINGAPORE, May 30. /TASS/. Russia is going to conclude agreements on the prevention of dangerous military activities near its borders with Japan and North Korea, Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov said on Saturday.

"A considerable contribution to confidence-building measures is made by bilateral agreements on the prevention of dangerous military activities near each other’s borders. We have effective agreements on that score with the United States, Canada, China and South Korea. We are hoping to conclude similar arrangements with Japan and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea," Antonov told the 14th international Asian security conference The Shangri-La Dialogue.
