MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. The Roscosmos state corporation that is currently being created in Russia, will deal with both civil and military projects, Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin told a State Duma plenary session on Tuesday.
"We will definitely keep working on military projects so that they are not affected during the implementation of the state defense order," he said, speaking about the second stage of the reform of the rocket and space industry, which provides for the creation of the state corporation.
In particular, he noted that the state-owned Makeyev Rocket Center, which is engaged in manufacturing liquid-fuel ballistic missiles, has already become part of the United Rocket and Space Corporation on whose basis Roscosmos is being formed. According to the plan, the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology working on solid-fuel rockets, will be integrated into the general structure at the end of 2016, the vice-premier added.
