All humanitarian aid convoy’s trucks for Donbass arrive in southern Russia

MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. All the vehicles that will form the 26th humanitarian convoy for Donbass have arrived in southern Russia’s Rostov region, the national crisis situations management center of the Emergencies Ministry has told TASS.

"All the vehicles, including from the Noginsk rescue center [outside Moscow], are now on the territory of the Donskoy rescue center in the Rostov region where the formation of the convoy continues," a representative of the center said.

The trucks are currently being loaded with humanitarian cargos, including food and essentials, he said. The convoy is expected to be ready by Wednesday afternoon and is due to depart for eastern Ukraine on May 14.

Since mid-August 2014, Russia has delivered around 33,000 tonnes of important humanitarian cargos to the war-torn Donbass.
