SOCHI, May 12. /TASS/. US State Secretary John Kerry has arrived in Sochi on Tuesday, where he will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov later today.

Kerry is also expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Rybakov told TASS that the talks will focus on international problems and Russian-US bilateral issues.

"Issues for discussion will include the situation in the world in broad terms and Russian-American relations with all their problematic elements," Ryabkov said. "There will be time to systematically and comprehensively go through the most complicated and hardest agenda which is not improving, point by point," the diplomat said.

Rybakov reminded that Kerry’s last visit to Russia took place in May 2013. However, the US state secretary continues to maintain regular contact with the Russian foreign minister, the diplomat noted.
