Russian Deputy PM says Russia is guarantor of global balance

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin says he thinks the world would slide into a total war without Russia

PUSHCHINO, May 6. /TASS/. Russia is a guarantor of stability in the world and the country must be strong not only spiritually but ready to rebound physically all possible threats, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Wednesday.

"We must understand that just like in the past Russia is a guarantor of the global balance and that the world would slide into a total war without Russia," Rogozin said at the opening of Rus museum in the Moscow Region’s town of Pushchino.

Rogozin told the participants of the museum’s opening that new military hardware would be displayed at the traditional military parade on the Red Square on May 9 during the Victory Day celebrations.

"This time you will see at the Victory Parade up-to-date military hardware, which we had been working on over the recent years," Rogozin said. "You will see sew tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, airborne assault vehicles as well as new missiles and new combat jets will be flying over Moscow for the first time ever."
