Russian government approves information security agreement with China

MOSCOW, May 6. /TASS/. Russia’s government has approved a draft agreement with China on cooperation in international information security, the government’s website reported on Wednesday.

"The agreement’s purpose is to offer legal and organisational bases for cooperation between Russia and China in international information security," the website informs. "The agreement lists basic threats, offers directions, approaches, forms and mechanisms of cooperation in the sphere."

The government orders the Foreign Ministry to organise negotiations with the Chinese party and as agreement is reached to have the document signed on behalf of the government.
