Putin signs amendments into law on NGOs

The text was amended with sub-clause 17 which stipulates the enhancement of mobility of labour resources as an activity of socially oriented NGOs

MOSCOW, May 2. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed amendments into the Law on Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs), the Kremlin press service said on Saturday.

The text was amended with sub-clause 17 which stipulates the enhancement of mobility of labour resources as an activity of socially oriented NGOs.

The amendment was adopted by the State Duma lower house of Russian parliament on April 21 and approved by Federation Council upper house on April 29.
