Chechen leader Kadyrov says not sticking to his post, ready to resign

"I have asked 20 times to be let go," Kadyrov said in an interview

MOSCOW, April 30. /TASS/. The head of the Russian North Caucasus Republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said Thursday he is not sticking to his post and is ready to tender his resignation if it is accepted.

"I have asked 20 times to be let go… I have never stuck to this post. I have asked and today I am asking, I will leave [the post] with pleasure," Kadyrov said in an interview with the Govorit Moskva radio.
