BOGOTA, April 24. /TASS/. Colombia has invited Russia’s defense sector companies to participate in the national arms exhibition Exspodefensa-2015, which will be held in Bogota from November 30 to December 2, Roberto Restrepo, director for international business development of Colombia’s company Corferias that is the exhibition organiser, told TASS.
Formal invitations have been sent to the Russian side. The Rosoboronexport arms exporter and other companies of the Russian defense industry, as well as an official delegation have been invited, Restrepo said.
Colombian Defense Minister Juan Carlos Bueno also told a group of journalists of the European Security and Defense Press Association that was specially invited to Colombia to familiarise themselves with the exhibition preparation that Russia is expected to attend Expodefensa-2015.
According to him, this year’s exhibition, which is held since 2008, is expected to be visited by a total of 250 delegations. In particular, South African, Turkey, Russia, India, the United States, China, the UK, Germany, France, the Republic of Korea are expected to attend Expodefensa-2015.
