Anti-terrorist operation in Dagestan’s Buinaksk suspended until morning

Law enforcers have blocked a private house in Buinaksk’s Gerei-Avlak suburb to neutralize militants hiding there

MAKHACHKALA, April 19. /TASS/. Law enforcers have suspended a special operation in a suburb of Buinaksk, Russia’s North Caucasian Republic of Dagestan, until Monday morning, a source in law-enforcement agencies told TASS on Sunday.

A counter-terrorist operation regime was imposed in Buinaksk at nine in the morning on Sunday. Law enforcers have blocked a private house in Buinaksk’s Gerei-Avlak suburb to neutralize militants hiding there. After negotiations with the militants blocked in the house, they let evacuate children from the house.

"As a result of storming, the house has partially collapsed. The special operation has been suspended until Monday morning," the source said.
