Rosatom completing approvals on new NPP projects in China - chief

MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom is completing approvals of documents on construction in China of two new power units at the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant, Rosatom chief Sergey Kiriyenko told TASS.

"China is capable of building nuclear power plants on its own. Nevertheless, by the experience of using the first two units of the Tianwan station, we started building units 3 and 4, and are now at the final stage in coordinating documents for another two units at the site," Kiriyenko said.
