MOSCOW, April 17. /TASS/. A state of information war against Russia has always existed, Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said on the Rossiya-24 television channel on Friday.
"A state of information war has existed for many and many years," Antonov said. "CoCom’s ideas are alive and restrictions have always been in force. A state of information war has always been in force. Now all the masks have been just thrown away."
CoCom known as the Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Export Control was set up by the NATO and Japan for controlling exports of embargoed goods and technologies to the Soviet Union.
