RIO DE JANEIRO, April 14. /TASS/. Russia seeks to strengthen its positions on the arms market of Latin America, with talks with delegations from seven Latin American countries expected at LAAD 2015 Defense and Security International Exhibition opening in Brazil on Tuesday.
"Our specialists will hold negotiations with high-ranking delegations from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Equator, China and South Africa," said the head of the delegation of Russia’s chief arms exporter Rosoboronexport.
"In particular, we will discuss with Brazilian partners licensed production, joint R&D work, creation of new samples of arms and military hardware, including for supplies to third countries," said Sergei Ladygin, Rosoboronexport’s deputy director general.
