MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Russia and Syria highly estimate the document adopted at the intra-Syrian talks in Moscow on April 6-9, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday after a meeting between Russian presidential envoy for the Middle East and North African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov with Syria’s government delegation to the Moscow consultations led by Syria’s Permanent Representative at the United Nations Bashar al-Jafari.

"They highly estimated the Moscow Platform adopted by the participants in the consultations," the ministry said. "Bogdanov and al-Jafari reiterated Moscow’s and Damascus’ commitment to political settlement in Syria via an intra-Syrian dialogue without interference from outside on the basis of the Geneva communique of June 30, 2012."

The side also stressed the importance of further coordination of efforts in the interests of the soonest end to fratricidal bloodshed in Syria, restoration of national accord among the Syrians and rebuffing international terrorists and extremists acting in Syria.
