Putin discussing Yemen, Ukraine, Iran’s nuсlear issue with Russian Security Council

Apart from that, topical issues of Russia’s domestic socio-economic are on agenda

NOVO-OGARYOVO, March 31. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"Situation in Yemen is in focus of discussion. Issues linked with the ongoing talks on the Iranian nuclear program in Lausanne, the situation in Ukraine’s south-eastern regions, and the implementation of the Minsk agreements are also on the agenda," Peskov said.

Apart from that, he said, they discuss topical issues of Russia’s domestic socio-economic agenda.

According to Peskov, taking part in the meeting are all members of the Security Council but for Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is currently at talks in Switzerland’s Lausanne.
